Overview
SS310 (AISI 310 Stainless Steel) is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel belonging to the 300 Series Heat-Resistant Stainless Steel Family. Featuring elevated chromium and nickel content, SS310 offers exceptional oxidation resistance, outstanding high-temperature strength, and excellent resistance to thermal cycling.
SS310 is specifically designed for continuous operation in extreme heat environments up to 1100°C–1150°C, making it one of the most widely used stainless steels for furnaces, kilns, burners, heat exchangers, thermal processing equipment, petrochemical systems, and power generation facilities.
Compared with SS309, SS310 offers higher temperature resistance and improved oxidation performance. Compared with nickel-based alloys such as Inconel, SS310 provides a more economical solution for many high-temperature applications.
